2012 International
Trading Partners Series: Indonesia
This six-part series
provides your organization the opportunity to meet, in a small group
setting, with top officials from California's top trading partners.
Indonesia offers
a variety of opportunities for your international business, especially in
the areas of transportation, agriculture, chemicals and manufacturing.
Indonesia imported over $800 million in goods in these areas from California
in 2010, with that number projected to grow due to US-Indonesia relations
being built through initiatives like TIFA, USAID Economic Growth Assistance
Program as well as being named one of only six NEI Next-Tier Market focus
countries.
Consul General Asianto Sinambela of Indonesia will lead a discussion on the
expanding international trade markets between the United States and
Indonesia. Mr. Sinambela will also discuss recent developments in Indonesian
trade policy that can benefit businesses here in California.
